Public Relations

To contribute to the prevention of torture and in order to attract attention to the problem of torture among society the IRC staff Semen Gluzman (Project Director), Tetjana Yablonska (Lawyer) and Marina Gutgarts (Documentalist) actively cooperated with mass media.

Semen Gluzman (Project Director):

  • has a weekly column at the website Telekritika

  • two articles in the magazine Focus Gluzman and two articles in the magazine Profile
  • three articles in the newspapers Expres (Lviv) and Po Kievsky
  • three live broadcasts on Radio Era and Radio Promin
  • two live broadcasts on TV 5, one live broadcast on TV 1+1 in December 2006; one live broadcast on TV Tonis in November 2006 and one live broadcast on the TV ICTV program Svoboda slova (Freedom of Speech) in May 2006; the program was about the revolts in the Ukrainian prisons.

Tetjana Yablonska (Lawyer):
