What Is IRC?International Medical Rehabilitation Center for the Victims of Wars and Totalitarian Regimes (IRC) is a public Charity Fund which aims to provide medical, psychological, social and legal rehabilitation assistance to individuals who became victims of torture or other brutal violations of fundamental human rights and members of their families. RC has the license of the Ministry for Health Protection as of 03.03.04, granting the right to conduct medical practice. IRC has been working since 1993. ObjectivesThe primary objective of IRC is to offer practical assistance (medical, psychological, social and informational) to persons who have previously been subjected to political repression and torture. IRC was established to render rehabilitative help to victims of torture or other serious violations of fundamental human rights, and their families. IRC performs the following functions:
